The NLG Law for the People Convention 2010 took place September 22-26 in New Orleans, LA.

The NLG was born in the heart of the CIO union struggles of the 1930s and our Labor & Employment Committee was proud to present a number of sessions related to labor issues and struggles at the 2010 plenary. The LEC also held its bi-annual meeting and participated in a successful labor action in support of New Orleans workers.

The convention opening featured an address from Cuba by Lic. Guillermo Ferriol Molin, Vice president of the Cuban Labor Law Society as well as a keynote address with John Thompson and Voices of Innocence, a 1-act play.
